#8 Rendevous With Kitchen Flavours

Hi, Iam back with yet another new guest in Rendezvous With Kitchen Flavours. Hmm today Iam going to take you to a unique blog. Most of you may be very familiar with this blog and its uniqueness. The key feature that makes this blog unique is its one page recipes. I think you guessed it. Ha you guessed it right it is Ramki of One Page Cookbook. With an simple ease he can turn down or shrink a complicated recipe to few lines. He can simply fit a bunch of similar recipes to one page. Sometimes he can shrink down 10 recipes or 100 recipes or even 1001 recipes in just one page (A4 size paper)and hence he calls his blog as one page cookbook. His blog One Page Cookbook not only give you bunch of similar recipes but also provide you with great information regarding those recipes sometimes with links to the prepared recipes or sometimes with historical background. Hope you will have great time exploring out his unique and amazing work.

By discovering the joy of cooking, giving, friendships and the pleasures of a simple life, Life seems less complicated. The world looks a lot more friendly says Ramki of One Page Cookbooks. Ramki says "My Five Favourites" are:

My Favorite Book

My Favorite Novel : Zen and the art of motorcycle maintanence, which changed the way I look at life.
My Favorite Magazine : The Economist, which makes complex concepts simple to understand.
My Favorite Cuisine : Fusion, where the best of two worlds are combined as in Pizza parathas.
My Favorite Film : Nayagan, Kamal Hassan's classic.
My Favorite Pastime (interests) : Cook for friends
My Favorite Place : Chennai

I'm glad to send in my entry(s). Each of these recipes have their own one page cookbook listing a thousand variations. I'll never run out them anytime soon! says Ramki. Scroll down to have look at Ramki's One Page Cookbook flavours.

1.
Parathas are my all time favourite !
2. And what better to go with parathas than lovely Raitas ?
3. Pappu, the simple, earthy lentil stew from Andhra is just divine when mixed with hot, cooked rice.
4. It takes the genius of a mature cuisine to dream up something so simple, yet so delicious as an Aviyal.
5. And every meal tastes good when washed down with a Milkshake.

In a world of memes, it is so nice to see a you you:).

I used to delve so much into philosophy three four years back but now most of the things I learn are from life itself, and if I did learn practical philosophy the best has always come from humorists (Erma, James Herriot, Gerald Durrel, Feynman and Bill Cosby) - there is nothing more difficult and nothing more serene than imparting a smile or a kind thought!

I too went through my Nayagan loving phase, currently shifted to Taare Zameen Par!

Ramki's site is something I adore too - it is unique!
