Rendezvous With Kitchen Flavours

Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it says Steven Tyler. My culinary journey started with “Yummy Food”, traveling through this mesmerizing, hypnotic, spellbinding, bountiful, delectable, delicious, luscious, toothsome and scrummy journey I came across to meet some wonderful, fantastic, grand and marvelous gastronomist’s through out the globe. Every time i visit a food blog I learn something new, even it could be a simple normal day to day recipe I cook every day. I find it new by the way it is presented or simply by the addition one or more ingredients or just the way it is presented or photographed. That is the glory of cooking!

Coming to the event, the simple motto behind this is to showcase the favorite recipes of a food blogger. This means a celebrating a new kitchen flavour every Sunday. We always cook food for our loved ones and never even think of cooking for ourselves. We just get adapt to whatever our husband or in-laws or children’s favorites are. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the women in you by sending down your favorite recipes. When I say yours it strictly means your favorite recipes (not the recipes liked by your family members). Don’t think I am a bit rude here. Cooking for them gives us joy an pleasure but cooking for ourself's remebering the first fist memories of cooking is a joy in its own which can't be expressed in words. Remeber those days and send me the recipes. This is just a unique celebration of being and feeling the warmth of womanhood.

Details of the event are as follows,

• Choose five favorite recipes (of your choice) which you like more and can indulge upon at anytime of the day.
• Recipes are of your choice, you can send all five lunch items or side dishes or cookies or ice creams or desserts or any thing purely your choice or else you can send five different varieties of recipes.
• Along with the recipes send me the these details, which I will write down under the heading “My Five Favorite‘s”.

1. My Favorite Cuisine
2. My Favorite Book/ Novel/Magazine
3. My Favorite Film
4. My Favorite Pastime (interests)
5. My Favorite Place

• Lastly send me your entries along with these details before Friday of every week. So that I get enough time to study your blog and post the details sent by you on Sunday. (I can feature only one blog on every Sunday).
• In simple words this is showcase of your favourite recipes and giving extra limelight to your blog.
• Last but not least my hearty thanks to all the wonderful people reading this event and willing to participate in this unique one of its kind event.
• You can send me your entries at kitchen.flavours@gmail.com with subject line "My Favorites".

NOTE: There is no need to prepare any new recipes for this event. If you already have posted your favorite recipes in your blog long back also there is no problem just send me the links. I will pick up the photographs by visiting the links sent by you.
