Nut Bars

This yummy recipe is rich with zinc, iron, selenium, calcium, copper and magnesium. A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine also confirms that eating high fiber foods, such as bananas, helps prevent heart disease.

This recipe is going to participate in the event Challenge hosted by Iyengar's Kitchen.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/4 cup puffed Rice
  • 1 1/4 cup Sesame seeds and Sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup Jaggery

PREPERATION:
  • Roast puffed rice, sesame and sunflower seeds.
  • Heat jaggaery on a low heat until it melts. Add puffed rice, sesame and sunflower seeds, mix well.
  • Pour this mixture on a smooth stone surface.
  • Roll into a sheet using a rolling pin.
  • Cut into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
  • Last but not least add your 'love' to make the dish 'YUMMY'.

Thank u. You can use cashew nuts or pea nuts or even almonds crushed out coarsly.
